The club has also won an award of £250 for successfully completing Snowmark in recognition for their continued commitment to developing the club.

Telford Ski Club

In providing high quality coaching to members on all three alpine racing surfaces Telford Ski Club finds itself in a unique position within British ski racing.

Under the expert eye of Head Coach Alan Ashfield and Race Coach Richard Breese, members are provided with the option to develop their skills on plastic and indoor snow on a weekly basis and, when the mountains are white, also on snow.

Founded almost 35 years ago at their home site at Madeley Ski Centre, Telford Ski Club continues to provide ski racing coaching sessions on the plastic surface. Their weekly residence at Chill Factore in Manchester allows them to provide the same opportunities indoors and through their extensive links in Alpbach, Austria, their membership have the facility to encompass all surfaces and disciplines within one coaching system.

Their racers compete at all levels - from local fun races through regional onto national and international competitions and Telford Ski Club has a long distinguished tradition of producing racers of the very highest quality. Indeed, they are very proud to have produced athletes who have gone on to represent both the Club and Great Britain at the Winter Olympic Games.
